Jimmy and I met up for lunch last week and talked about getting some meets going.   Would anyone be interested in taking the ball and organizing one of the meets below?

We'll need to set dates/times for each event.   For the install meets plan maybe one to two difficult installs and 5-8 easy installs?

Meet ideas so far:

Spring Install Meet (@ Jimmy's?)

Golf Meet v2.0

Fall Install Meet (@ Ryan's?)

Tri-State Drag Strip Meet with Dinner after (or Lunch before)

Track Day Meet (Putnam Park, 10/10ths?)

Post Cars & Coffee Grill out @ AdamB's

Picnic Meet (Sharonwoods?  Any park has has space for 30-40 cars and a decent sized grill?)

The cookout last year for Snider's bday was a lot of fun. I would be willing to host again for an after-C&C summer grill out, and lower all of my neighbors' property value

Its normally a group drive the S2000 group does twice a year, but typically I invite one or two Subaru folks when I organize it.

Some roads shared with the leprechaun run.

I figured more would come if exclusively Subaru.

Anyone recommend a near by park that can hold at least 50 cars with enough picnic tables?

Winton woods might fit the bill. Would have to rent a shelter.

Afterall, other than picking up lesbians what is the point of a Forester if you can't use all of the cargo space.

Yeah there is that one shelter right on the lake, it has a decent size parking lot too!

Eastfork also has the Matt Maupin Pavilion that's right on the lake and HUGE! Plenty of parking for probably closer to 75-100 cars if I remember correctly. Also, I might know a guy who could get the reservation squared away.
