I know this has been done in the past at the old TiC HQ, but I wanted to gauge everyone's interest in having a detailing meet.

I'm not suggesting we get out the orbital polishers, but a wash, clay bar and sealant/wax really shouldn't take that long for each car if there are enough people.

Logistically this may be tough since we don't have a great place to do it anymore, but hopefully someone has an idea.

It worked great at the old TIC shop because cars could go in one side and exit the other with a assembly line going

I got a half-circle driveway we could maybe use. Probably fit 5-6 cars at once on it with enough elbow room for people.

Afterall, other than picking up lesbians what is the point of a Forester if you can't use all of the cargo space.

I'm down for this on one circumstance. We get Ryan a half cut shirt to tie up in a knot and some daisy duke shorts. And maybe Adam some too.

Someone have some pink roller skates we can roll on around serving drinks to everyone?

How did you guys do it last time?  Everyone put in a little money for supplies or each bring their own?

I believe we took the first person to ask this question and made them buy all the supplies...

Damn, well I guess everybody is washing their cars with dish soap and the rag I use to dry off my dog from the rain!

I honestly dont know what they did because I didn't associate with these fools back then. My standards have since been lowered and here I am...

The last one was at the end of 2011, I think.  I want to say people brought their own detailing supplies for their respective cars, but people helped each other out

Makes sense.  We could do bring your own supplies or if enough people are wanting to do this I think I have some discounts at autogeek and may be able to do a big purchase.

A little late on this post but I do detailing as a side job now, used to do it full time for a few years. I got anything you can think of besides a steam cleaner. If anyone has any questions I probably have an answer
