The VF40 is pretty much a ticking time bomb. Might as well go for a GTX30r before it's too late

It's only a ticking time bomb if you don't pull your banjo bolt filters ASAP.

Ditch the vf40 before it shits the bed.  They truly are a time bomb and when they go all of that bearing material can contaminate your engine and cause subsequent damage up to and including catastrophic engine failure.   A simple evo 16g upgrade will work wonders for your car, be reliable, provide much more power across the entire powerband(instead of falling flat on it's face above 4500rpms), and will spool at about the same rate at the oem turbo for super punchy good times in daily traffic.
