The CORC still does TSD of the area? If so, post up in the 'upcoming events' section as more information becomes available.

Yes, CORC sanctions a rally series each year. The first planning meeting was last Monday evening. I 'attended' by telephone.

As of now, they have 1 tour, 3 TSDs and the forest rally planned.

River Run is a memorial tour put on by/for friends of Eric Jones (the guy who really started Sunriser). CORC doesn't actually sanction the event, but always supports it. It's a nice drive from Columbus to some point on the Ohio River. The tour is a very relaxed, all day event that has the entrants driving a printed route to a city on the river for lunch, then heading back to central Ohio. There are no assigned speeds or timing controls. The big questions are where to have lunch and who to eat with. It's always a circus - mostly older British cars and a lot of them. 150 - 300 car fields are the norm. All the money goes to charity.

The 3 TSDs that SHOULD happen in 2016 will be on the last Saturdays of June, July and August. These are pretty straight-forward events designed to be beginner-friendly but still challenging enough to keep the experienced folks entertained. Routes are usually in the 80-to-100-mile range and roads are paved. Start/finish locations and times will appear on the website. Additional events may be added if more folks volunteer as rallymasters. If you're interested in running a TSD but aren't familiar with CORC's rules, you can download them (they're known as 'general instructions') here:

The Forest rally is planned for sometime after Labor Day. Mid-November would be my guess unless something changes.
